Living and working as a settler on occupied land of the Bidjigal people. Sovereignty was never ceded.
My name is Dylan Batty.
My art practice explores themes of human connection, storytelling, and the semiotics of labor, intimacy and technology. My work addresses notions of craft and invites a rethinking of how materials and techniques can convey deeper narratives and emotional resonance.
Batty Fine Art & Logistics provides hanging, fabrication and consultancy services to the greater Sydney are since 2017.
I have worked in the arts industry since 2014 as a Gallery Technician. I completed a BFA with honours at SCA in 2015 and a Master of Fine Art at UNSWAD in 2019. I am currently Exhibitions Coordinator at N.Smith Gallery.
