Aoide (2019)

Playing on the tensions of reclaimed labour within gallery spaces, Aoide aims to acknowledge and thank every individual who contributed to the production of the exhibition and to the research that led to the body of work.

The visible timber frames of the gallery walls become warped sculptures supported by Grunt branded straps, the cutting in on the bottom of the walls becomes a gestural painting, and the vinyl didactic becomes film style credits, bound to the whims of the structures that surround it.
