The work consists of two stacks of CRT televisions draped in translucent painters tarps. Each stack plays every film from a generic action film series along with a corresponding film by Tsai Ming-Liang, in this case, the Mission Impossible series with Vive L’amour,and the Die Hard series with I Don’t Want to Sleep Alone.

The two stacks sit at different heights and different orientations, casting the light from the screens onto the drop sheets, creating an ambient glow of light and obscuring the content on the screens on all but Ming-Liang’s films.

This work was shown at SCA gallery as part of the 2015 annual degree show.
